Golden Age DC Heroes from McFarlane, plus a Dinosaur in a Diaper from TMNT?

McFarlane Toys introduces Super Powers versions of Golden Age DC heroes, while NECA presents a TMNT classic character who, on first glance, looks like an orange dinosaur in a diaper.

Today's toy haul features two fairly disparate concepts. One is a throwback within a throwback as McFarlane Toys releases a 3-pack of Golden Age superheroes: Green Lantern, Starman and Hourman. These mostly-forgotten heroes are sculpted in the classic 80's style and are part of the DC Super Powers line. These characters were part of the early DC days and eventually formed the Justice Society of America. Alan Scott, the Green Lantern first appeared in 1940, as did Rex Tyler, Hourman. Ted Knight, Starman, appeared a year later in 1941.

The other entry for this week is the Triceraton Gladiator from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NECA line featuring designs right out of the 80's comics from Eastman and Laird. This bulky warrior looks like a triceratops, a dinosaur from the Cretaceous period, with orange skin and white shorts that look suspiciously close to a diaper from that era.
