Halloween Haunt 2024: Massive Decor Haul with Frankenstein, Bears, Funkos and more!
Our most recent Halloween decor haul features tree peekers, Frankenstein candles and a mug, Care Bears, Deddy Bears, Funkos and more.
Just when you think the Halloween decor season was about to wind down, a late summer Halloween haul proved that was not the case at all.
We've seen these tree peekers for a couple years now and since, we don't have any trees they didn't hold a lot of interest. Then, I saw them in person! They may not light up, but they are the spiritual successors to the old school blow molds! After seeing how they fasten to a tree, it was easy to see how we might display them indoors. They're kind of pricey at $30 at Joann, but we found them for 50 percent off, so we picked up both the Scarecrow and the alien.
These Frankenstein monster and the Bride candles are certainly different with their heads partially enclosed in the glass. These came from Marshalls.
This Frankenstein mug was a bit of a grail for me and now I regret not getting two of them. It is very sturdy and microwave safe.
I really, really try not to buy many Funko POPS!, but they keep luring me back in with some of my favorite characters. I ordered them as a set, but found Dracula solo at a Hot Topic. I also found some of the first Beetlejuice Beetlejuice merch and picked this Lydia POP. And finally, I've really liked the Spider-Boy comic and had to grab this POP, too.
We were really on the search for Frankenstein merch, as usual and, to our surprise, found quite a bit of the green guy in the Marshalls pet section. Each is a little different and we originally passed on the naked Frankenstein monster. In hindsight, I'm glad I went back and got it, but cause it is the most unique--and we love unique things at Cereal Creatures.
I'd seen these Deddy Bears in a YouTube video and was peaked by the Frankenstein version. The one I'd seen was at Cracker Barrel, but I picked this up at Spencers Gifts.
This oddity, one of three different Care Bears Halloween-themed versions, was found at Five Below.
We've seen quite a few different Halloween or horror-themed shirts at Walmart, but I had never seen this one until I saw it in real life at the store. It looks a little A.I.-generated, but it also works as an inspiration piece. For example, maybe we'll replace witch with our very own Teen Satan. Hmmm....
Our only outside decor (which is actually inside) is this neon jack o'lantern from Joann. I had bought cheaper ones in the past and hadn't expected much of this one either. But I was happily surprised at how bright it is!
