New Playmates figures: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crosses over with classic monsters!

Remember those Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Playmates figures that crossed over with the Universal Monsters? We got all four! Oh, not the ones from the '90s—those are way too expensive. These were just released from Walmart!

When I found these "Monsters and Mutants", they looked like an online exclusive, so I snagged them. We don't collect much TMNT stuff, but some pieces just call out to us. Styled after the 2012 series, we have Mikey as the Werewolf, Donnie as Frankenstein's monster, Raph as a vampire, and Leo as the Mummy. They're not officially licensed from Universal, so they're not quite like the old ones, but all the uniqueness and spooky charm is there. These weren't on my radar at all, so it was a great surprise that Walmart had them out and shipped well before Halloween. Kudos to Walmart and Playmates for lots of treats and no tricks!
