New York Toy Fair 2025: Universal Monsters figures

This weekend's New York Toy Fair 2025 is under way and we're keeping an eye out for anything Universal Monsters including new figures! Here's what we've seen from across the Interwebs so far!

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Universal Monsters figures are continuing, but it looks like they are expanding beyond the traditional monsters.

First up is Shredder as Dracula. Below is a first look at the package artwork which seems to continue the design language of the previous figures.

Continuing in the Universal Monsters vein is Krang as the Metaluna Mutant. This has a very 50's sci-fi feel to it with the retro space suit and wild colors.

And finally is the two-head monster featuring Mikey and Donnie. Noting the cyclops alternate head, this seems to be less Universal Monsters and more Ray Harryhausen.

Some of the regular Universal Monsters were hard to see, but it looks like the Bride of Frankenstein is getting a new figure, likely based off the monster in the chair version from last year. There's a bride figure herself, which we assume is new. And finally, a new Metaluna Mutant from NECA is coming our way! Between the monster and the mutant, we're stoked to see our two favorite monsters getting new releases soon!

The monster himself is coming to Super7's Super Cycles line. He'll join his Bride and a couple varieties of the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Also coming, but not pictured, is the Wolf Man, the Mummy and a glow-in-the-dark version of the Bride.

The Universal Monsters are coming to the Reaction Plus line of figures from Super7. From the signage, it appears they'll show up this fall in the form of the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Wolf Man and Dracula. The "Plus" line is similar to the classic G.I. Joe line with more points of articulation than the regular Super7 Reaction figures.

And a little bonus: Nacelle has their wave of 6" figures on display. These are definitley some oddities, but not unwelcome. There's Tuvix (from the controversial Voyager episode of the same name), Weyoun, Mirror Universe Archer (in Kirk-era tunic), Captain Edward Jellico, Livingston (Picard's fish), Peter Preston (Star Trek II), Captain Hikaru Sulu, Captain Rachel Garrett (of the Enteprise-C) and Valkris (the Klingon who died early on in Star Trek III) and finally, the Genesis Device, which comes with Valkris.

We're kidding about Livingston...probably. Hey, that was one Playmates never made!
