Saturday Afternoon Haul: August 6, 2022

Another pretty small haul this week as there's not much in stores that we're interested in.

1) DC Pride Funko Pops!

About two months late for pride month, this Wal-Mart exclusive three pack features Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn and Robin, presumably Tim Drake. Of course, I would have preferred just Robin, but it's not bad as a collector's item.

2) Eaglemoss U.S.S. Enterprise-E

This was a purchase that I had to make after it was announced that Eaglemoss, the makers of Star Trek and other sci-fi starships and mini-statues was going out of business. Who knows if we'll learn what happened to the sixth starship to bear the name Enterprise, but this XL version of the NCC-1701-E had to become part of my small collection of unique Eaglemoss ships while I still had the option.

3) DC Glow-in-the-Dark DVD's

Now, I'm not really interested in fads intended to sell one more copy of a DVD, but in this case these were pretty unique. From a plethora of movies and TV shows, I found Batman Beyond and Titans the irresistible. The only other DC option I recall seeing was Zack Snyder's Justice League, but I wanted it on Blu-ray. I have both series in their regular packaging, but these glow-in-the-dark covers peaked my interest enough to add them to my media collection. I believe these are Wal-Mart exclusives.
