Smell like a Hero with DC Comics’ Old Spice collab
A collaboration between DC Comics and Old Spice brings new Batman and Superman-themed products including body spray, deodorant, body wash and shampoo.
Have you ever wanted to smell like Batman? Maybe you’ve yearned for that clean feeling that Superman gets from soaring faster than a speeding bullet. No? Well, you can get the next best thing as Old Spice collabs with DC Comics with a line of body care products. Currently available at Walmart, the Batman branding goes with “Dark Knight” while “Man of Tomorrow” covers Superman along with glossy lettering and what appears to be Jim Lee art. These slick designs stand out on the shelf in Old Spice’s signature red packaging.
The Dark Knight fragrance is described as Black Cherry and Nightfall. Man of Tomorrow’s scent is Bright Citrus and Cosmos. Both are pretty good, but I think I prefer the Superman variety better.
Regardless of your preferred scent, these make excellent decorative pieces for your bathroom, especially if you have a superhero affinity. It’s great to see DC is getting their heroes out there in the marketplace with these type of collaborations. Each bottle or container was around $8 each, which is a little pricey, but in line with similar items in the body care aisle.
At our local Walmart, we found the following in both Batman and Superman varieties:

Body + Face Wash
Shampoo
Another deodorant option with antiperspirant was not available. Similarly, an Aquaman variety of each items called “King of Atlantis”, and smelling of Fresh Ocean and Seastorm, was not in stock. Unfortunately, the Aquaman design uses the Jason Momoa version and photos don’t stand out like Batman or Superman, but perhaps will look better when seen in person.
