Our latest merchandise preview from the world of Universal Monsters features a new Super 7 Creature for Walmart, a plush Invisible Man, Funko Digital POP! monsters and Fright Rags Mini-masks. Plus, learn the ladies involved in the Halloween Horror Nights 2024 Universal Monsters house.

The Super 7 Creature from the Black Lagoon Cyborg is back in this clear version that will be a Walmart exclusive in early 2025 (according to the Walmart website). This monstrosity is 11" tall and includes a highly detailed look presented in diorama-style packaging. Pre-order is now open.

From YouTuber Kevin Heimbach comes the first look at the plush Invisible Man joining the rest of the Universal Monsters. This is from Universal Studios Hollywood, so hopefully he'll be available to order from the Orlando store soon.

Next is up is a digital wave of Universal Monsters NFT-style Funko POP! collectibles that include a physical version. Both the digital and physical artwork and sculpting looks superb--but I'll likely never get one. The digital scheme is overly complex and doesn't offer the option to just buy the physical POP!. The virtual cards art looks amazing and would easily sell if they were in baseball card-style packets in comic shops, Walmart and Target. It's also noteworthy that a character like Frankenstein (the man, not the monster) is include, even though its a Freddy Funko version. I would love to have more of the non-monster characters in a wave of POP!'s. More about the digital version and how it works is provided online.

And finally, these Fright Rags mini-masks featuring color and black and white versions of the Frankenstein monster, Wolf Man and the Creature from the Black Lagoon have shown up online and will be Previews Exclusives. These are smaller versions of classic-style plastic masks most recently seen in the Bloody Disgusting pop up at Walmart in the form of the Michael Myers mask.

Universal's Halloween Horror Nights has announced their Universal Monsters house for the year titled "Eternal Bloodlines." The spook house will appear at both Orlando and Hollywood parks. The story revolves around Saskia Van Helsing, the daughter of Dracula's nemesis Abraham Van Helsing. Saskia is after Countess Marya from the Dracula sequel, "Dracula's Daughter." The She-Wolf from "She-Wolf of London" and Anck-Su-Namun from "The Mummy" appear along with the Bride of Frankenstein. Team-ups and alliances will be built and guests journeying through the house will be caught in the middle. Sounds like fun.
